Yes, Ampure Go chargers are designed to be weather-resistant and can be safely used in rain or snow.

What size breaker does a level 1 and/or level 2 charger require?

The required breaker size depends on the charger's maximum current:  

  • 16Amp EV Charger requires a 20-amp breaker.
  • 32Amp EV Charger requires a 40-amp breaker.  
  • 40Amp Ev Charger requires a 50-amp breaker.
What are the flammability ratings of the Ampure Go?

The Ampure Go has highest protection against flammability. Insulating parts are rated according to UL 94 V-0 and decorative parts according to UL 94 HB.

What is the component safety of the Ampure Go?

All components of the Ampure Go are rated for a temperature range of at least -40°C to +85°C.

What electrical protection does the Ampure Go provide?

The Ampure Go provides Missing Earth Protection, Surge Protection, and Overcurrent / Overvoltage Protection for maximum safety.
